Fabi’s in-depth knowledge includes all aspects of litigation work and corporate and commercial law.
Fabi is our Manager of the Paralegal Department with over 17 years of litigation experience. Her expertise involves a wide range of duties such as drafting of pleadings, interlocutory proceedings and motion materials; coordinating the document discovery process; evidence management including reviewing documents for relevance and privilege, preparation of affidavits of records; managing electronic data; preparation of documentation for use at examinations, pre-trial, mediation and trial; managing undertakings and written interrogatories; coordinating and corresponding with third-party experts, such as independent medical doctors, and investigators; trial preparation; and participating in meetings with clients.
With her CORES 3 accreditation, Fabi provides support to our corporate team including incorporations, amalgamations, amendments, various share transactions, dissolutions as well as incorporation. She also assists with minute book preparation and reviews and files electronically with Alberta Registries.
She leads the development and implementation of processes and policies to ensure the Paralegal team is positioned to deliver a best in class service offering to our clients.
Outside of law, Fabi enjoys reading, preparing a good charcuterie board and spending time in the mountains with her family.
